The Academy of the Arts has long been synonymous with its founder and director, Dr. L. Scott Martin, or "Dr. Scott" as he is often called.

With A Ph.D from the Juilliard School in New York, Scott has helped the Academy grow over the years from a small one-man operation in his basement to a thriving school with 18 self-employed teachers and hundreds of students locally. The Academy has teachers and students throughout the United States and across the world.

The Academy is now known for its top-quality training techniques in voice and performance that has allowed several individuals to achieve their dream of a professional vocal performance career. Of its many students, Scott has coached well over 200 national and local album projects, many of which have been late night, locked door sessions for major stars, (whom legally we are not at liberty to name). Scott and the staff of the Academy has also coached the likes of Glen Campbell, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and most recently, Dove Award nominees, Rachael Lampa and Stacie Orrico. Although the Academy works with all genres of musical styles and taste, it has had its greatest impact in the training and development of Christian artists.

• Dr. Scott Martin with a Ph.D from the Juilliard School in New York, Scott is the Academy's founder and Director.
• Sydney Hostetler has been teaching with the Academy for over 16 years and is known for her versatility as a vocalist and sings anything from Classical to Rock. In addition to voice, Sydney teaches theory, songwriting, performance, studio technique, loop programming, arranging, and monologue skills.
• Amparo Bellon-Champ has been teaching for the past six years and is the Academy's bilingual voice coach. Amparo helps her students feel and move to the music for better vocal interpretation.
• Tanya Perkins is the Academy's resident artist. She has a Masters in vocal technique and performance. Tanya can assist any student interested in pursuing a career in NYC theater.
• Stuart Whitmore is the CEO of "All That" Entertainment, Inc., a Denver based talent and management company, and the President and Executive Producer for, All Thoze Records. Stuart also doubles as a vocal, guitar, and performance coach at the Academy.
